We are a self-funded collection of very senior software engineers, hands-on executives & entrapreneurs.
We like writing code and creating infrastructure. All code, well except for VB.
We have all moved away from the San Francisco bay area and now reside across the world – but we still have a shared cultural experience of Silicon Valley from the pre-dotcom bust.
We liked what companies like GitLab were doing with their distributed engineering teams, so we founded Badon Hill Technologies to provide a structure to work on bigger projects for you – and for us
We are a distributed team that live and work around the world. Zoom is great but it can't yet re-build an embedded server; sometimes you just need to get on a plane and look the customer in the eye.
Badon Hill is the (unknown) location of a battle in 6th century Britain between the Roman/Celtic Britons and the invading Anglo-Saxons. The battle, according to archaeological records, seems to have blocked the further expansion of the Anglo-Saxons invasion for several generations.
